Carter Thanks the 4th District
Carter will continue to build momentum and unseat Congressman Johnson in November
(ATLANTA) – The July 20th primary was the culmination of a vigorous campaign for Carter who announced her bid in November 2009. By avoiding a runoff in a highly contested primary, Carter’s message resonated throughout the district as was evidenced by her overwhelming win yesterday.
“I’m tremendously thankful to the people of District 4,” remarked Carter, “It’s now time to redouble our efforts and focus on victory in November. We will Yank Hank.”
Carter’s message of restoring the district to its once “shining jewel” status includes bringing jobs back to the area, improving the quality of education, and addressing the serious issues of illegal immigration.
